Lauren Graham aka Lorelai Gilmore on Ellen, The Weeknd's "MANIA", Mariah Carey Talks Breakup & Lindsay Lohan Insults Ariana Grande

One of the things Gilmore Girls fans love most about their beloved dramedy is how Lorelai Gilmore and daughter Rory speed-talk like there’s no tomorrow. On Tuesday’s episode of Ellen, host Ellen DeGeneres made actress Lauren Graham (who plays Lorelai) prove that she can chatter in real life just as quickly as her GG alter ego when the two played a game of Five Second Rule. “I have to say three things in five seconds, but because you can talk so fast you have to say four things in five seconds,” Ellen explained. Graham managed to keep up with the game until she was asked to name four of the gifts in the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Lindsay Lohan was acting like Regina George on Instagram the other day. The 30 year old “Mean Girls” actress commented on a selfie Ariana Grande posted while rehearsing for “Hairspray”. Lohan wrote, “Too much makeup” on the picture. But she didn’t just do it once. Lohan commented on ANOTHER Instagram picture of Grande, writing the same thing: “Too much makeup”.

With his anxiously awaited album Starboy arriving on Friday, The Weeknd has just dropped a short film called MANIA that includes samples of several tracks off the new project. As Stereogum notes, the 12-minute film, which was helmed by music video director Grant Singer, also features fancy cars, a murder and a panther, which Complex reports is the same panther from the opening shorts of the music video for Starboy’s title track.

Like a true diva, Mariah Carey dished about her recent split from fiancé James Packer on Wednesday’s episode of Ellen. “It’s a whole freakin’ thing…I think I’m doing well,” Mariah said about her breakup from the Australian billionaire. “Everything happens for a reason. Things are the way they are.” Ellen then asked her about rumors that Packer had requested to be edited out of the reality series Mariah’s World. “It’s kind of difficult to talk about at the moment,” Mariah replied. She then changed the subject by adding, “So I’m just going to compliment you on these [Christmas] decorations once again because they are fabulous, and I am here, among them.”
