TIME’s Person of the Year for 2016 is President-elect Donald Trump. The decision as to who wins is based off of WHO has influenced most of the news and the world over the past year.

“To be on the cover of Time as Person of the Year is a tremendous honor. It’s a very important magazine and I’ve been lucky enough to be on the cover many times this year.” Trump told Matt Lauer (TODAY)

But Trump wasn’t happy with the magazine’s decision to use the tagline “President of the Divided States of America.”

His response?

“I think putting ‘divided’ is snarky. I didn’t do anything to divide.”

Hillary Clinton came in second for the honor, while “hackers” placed third.
