Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively made their first-ever public appearance with their two daughters on Thursday when the Deadpool actor received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Entertainment Weekly reports that he humorously thanked his family for their support as his wife, 2-year-old James and their newborn girl, whose name has not yet been released, looked on. “You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me–second only to this star,” he joked. “You make everything better, absolutely everything in my life better. You’ve made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential.”After giving his acceptance speech, Reynolds posed on the red carpet for photos with his family.

Two and a half years after the How I Met Your Mother spinoff was shelved, Deadline is reporting that it mat actually make it to the air. According to the outlet, a new ensemble show called How I Met Your Father is being developed and written by This Is Us co-executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. The project hails from HIMYM studio 20th TV and will follow a new group of characters from the perspective of a woman. The original show’s creators Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Emily Spivey will also serve as executive producers. The previously titled How I Met Your Dad was initially ordered as a pilot by CBS in 2014 and starred Greta Gerwig.


On Thursday night’s episode of The Late Late Show, James Corden surprised guests with a special Christmas-themed edition of Carpool Karaoke. The host welcomed Mariah to sing her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” and then enlisted stars like Adele, Elton John and Selena Gomez to belt out the hit during their respective rides with him. The mashup also featured Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gwen Stefani.

Ariana Grande proved to be one of the biggest highlights during this year’s iHeartRaido Jingle Ball, which aired on Thursday night. In addition to performing tracks from her latest album Dangerous Woman, Grande sang a mixture of songs from her Christmas and Chill EP. The night also found DNCE performing their hit singles “Cake By the Ocean” and “Body Moves,” as well as covering “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls and Kanye West’s “Fade.” Other performers that took the stage included Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Ellie Goulding, Diplo, Lukas Graham, and Niall Horan.
