The Sudbury Wolves have acquired over-age defensemen Patrick Sanvido from the Windsor Spitfires for a 14th round pick in 2017 and a 6th round pick in 2018.

Sanvido has been the captain of the Spitfires for the past two and a half years and was drafted in the 7th round by the Dallas Stars in the 2014 NHL draft.

He will make his Wolves debut on Thursday in North Bay, and home debut the next night against Guelph.

Sanvido has one assist in 18 games for Windsor this season.
