Over 16 hours later a 48-year old man left his residence in Milnet and surrendered to police.

Sudbury Police responded to the home, 10 minutes north of Capreol, on a weapons complaint around 8 pm on Wednesday night.

Police say the complaint came from residents who witnessed the man outside with a firearm.

Officers had set up a mobile command unit and brought in OPP after the resident was unresponsive.

The man surrendered to police at 12 pm this afternoon and the investigation continues.

There was no word on what kind of firearm the man had.
