Starting tomorrow transit fees will go up in Sudbury.

Prices will rise across the board, with one time rides going up to $3.20 for adults and students and up to $2.30 for seniors and children.

Ride cards, day passes and 31 day passes are also going up.

The city will once again offer the affordable transit pass program for low-income residents between the ages of 18 and 64.

The city says the increases are necessary to offset the cost of operating a public transit service.
