Most of the time – an artist stands on the stage of an awards show and thanks the people along the way who helped him/her get to where they got. However, every once in a while an artist will take the opportunity to try and inspire the youth who are watching and dreaming of being there – to keep working.

That was the case for Taylor Swift at last year’s Grammy Awards when she accepted the award for Album of the Year.  After thanking the people she needed to, she let all the young girls watching know that despite whatever struggles you may run into – you MUST keep pushing forward.  That speech was so inspirational that it has now been turned into a short film by the Recording Academy.

Here’s Taylor’s original speech from the 58th Grammys that inspired the short film…

You can watch the 59th Grammys on City on February 12th at 8:00.
