There were 3,654 reported collisions in the city last year, down 73 from 2015.

Greater Sudbury Police released their yearly collision stats and the numbers look at collisions, pedestrian and snowmobile collisions and impaired driving numbers.

Police found of the over 36 hundred collision, 87% happened when the weather conditions were clear, meaning people are driving to conditions but still are culprits of distracted driving.

There were 69 pedestrian collisions and 59 where drugs and alcohol were involved.

Eight collisions resulted in fatalities, which was up by three from 2015.
