Greater Sudbury Police have issued a warning to parents whose children play on a popular gaming environment called Roblox.

The warning came from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection after receiving reports that children under 12 were getting requests to meet up in person or getting sent sexually suggestive chat messages.

Roblox is a gaming environment that allows you to connect with friends to play and claims to have over 44 million active users.

The centre says it’s important for parents to be alert with any app or site that offers direct messaging features.
