Katy Perry took to Twitter on Thursday to shoot down rumors that there is bad blood between her and ex Orlando Bloom. “HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017?!” she wrote. “U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one’s a victim or a villain, get a life y’all!”

Following the tweet, Perry kept busy on social media by sharing several videos of her getting her locks chopped off in a style exactly like Miley Cyrus’ hairdo. “Cash me outside how bow dah,” she captioned one of the clips. As Entertainment Tonight points out, several outlets reported that Perry and Bloom broke up because the actor was caught canoodling with another woman.

If you’re a fan of Justin Bieber’s face, then you should thank your lucky stars Ed Sheeran didn’t ruin that cute mug when he once tried to drunkenly hit a golf ball out of Bieber’s mouth. “We were in Japan. We’d been out to a dive bar. He just drank water and I got hammered,” Sheeran tells The Guardian in a new interview. “Then we went to a golf course, and he lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told me to hit it out of his mouth. I was like ‘F**k, I need to aim this properly.'” Needless to say, he didn’t. “I’d cracked Justin Bieber right in the cheek with a golf club,” Sheeran continues. “That was one of those ‘what the f**k?’ moments.”

In the nation’s capital on Thursday, the White House press corps perked up at the sight of a gift from actor Tom Hanks. The Oscar winner and typewriter enthusiast gave embattled reporters a new espresso maker, as well as a typewritten note which read, “To The White House Press Corps, Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice and the American way. Especially for the Truth part.” Hanks’ note also included a drawing of soldiers bearing the caption, “Fresh, spirited American troops, flushed with victory, are bringing in thousands of hungry, ragged, battle-weary prisoners.” Donald Trump has been notoriously rough on the journalists tasked with covering his presidency, and Hanks is no fan of the former Apprentice host, calling him a “self-involved gasbag” prior to the election.
