Dynamic Earth will re-open on Saturday with a trip into the history and world of paleontology.

unEARTHed: 4 Billion Years Of Life will feature a cast of Lucy, one of the earliest hominids ever discovered and showcase the evolution of life on earth like dinosaurs that have been discovered in Canada…including a skull of the Albertosaurus.

Senior Manager of Dynamic Earth, Julie Moskaylk says there is one really cool interactive feature that families will love, a Mastodon dig.

Crates of dirt from a Mastodon dig have been sent to Sudbury from New York, people can dig though, whatever is found is bagged, tagged with their name on it and sent back to New York to be analyzed.

The exhibit at Dynamic Earth is presented in partnership with the International Museum institute of New York and is making it’s Canadian debut.

unEARTHed runs until September.
