Statistics show that new parents lose the equivalent of 44-days of sleep in their babies first year but sometimes a night time drive can help the little ones get to sleep quicker.

Wouldn’t it be great to do just that without having to get up, get dressed, scrape the windows and warm the car up?

Ford motor company has debuted a prototype called Max Motor Dreams,  a crib that simulates the gentle hum and vibrations of a moving car, without the need for a driver or any gas.

A speaker in the bed plays engine sounds, while the base of the crib rocks gently, recreating the sensation of a moving vehicle and the crib is lined with blinking LED lights to mimic streetlights.

Wouldn’t it be great if they made one for adults….
