Often referred to as the heartbeat of health care, nurses are recognized across the country during National Nursing Week.

There are over 16 hundred nurses at Health Sciences North alone.

Critical Care Nurse, Jocelyne Benoit says being a nurse keeps you ground and makes you remember what’s really important.

National Nursing Week coincides with International Nurses Day and Florence Nightingale’s May 12th birthday, who is considered the founder of modern nursing.

HSN has compiled a number of nurses stories which have been shared on their Facebook page.
