The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Ontario Chambers of Commerce have written to Premier Kathleen Wynne urging her not to make any major changes to Ontario’s labour laws, and that includes an introduction of a 15 dollar minimum wage.

The letter is warning the government that the changes may have unintended consequences impacting job creation and competitiveness.

They’re also concerned about the province’s Changing Workplaces review, which looks at issues including work scheduling, sick time and emergency leave.

The Chambers are they calling on the province to do an economic impact analysis.
