Gateway Takes Over Sudbury Downs

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is officially the operator of the Slots At Sudbury Downs.

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has signed a 20-year Casino Operating and Services Agreement with Gateway which means the British Columbia company takes over operations and the assets of the North Gaming Bundle, including Sudbury Downs and casinos in Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.

They will also have the opportunity to build two new gaming facilities, one in North Bay and the other in the Kenora area.

Gateway’s regional director will be based out of Sault Ste. Marie.
