EDDY

Sudbury Police say a family dog that escaped from it’s back yard returned home with pellet gun injuries.

On Saturday around 4 pm, Eddy, a Husky/Retriever mix escaped the family’s back yard on Desloges Road in the Richard Lake area and the owners found him 10 minutes later.

The owner checked the dog and noticed blood on his fur and a vet later confirmed that Eddy had been shot with a pellet gun and the pellet was still beneath the skin.

The dog was treated and sent home, but Sudbury police are asking for any information on the incident.
