A local 55-year old woman has not been seen or heard from in more than 24-hours and Greater Sudbury Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.

Darlene Sweeney was last seen Wednesday morning around 9:30 on Elizabeth street in Val Theres. She’s 5-1 and weighs about 85 pounds with short strawberry blonde hair, green eyes and was last seen wearing a brown leather coast, blue jeans, black boots and a black toque. Sweeney also has a tattoo of Tweety bird on her right ankle.  Darlene drives a black, 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer with an Ontario licence plate of BNXE 894.
