Someone actually named their kid Jimbob Ghostkeeper. I’m not kidding. It’s the real name of a minor-league hockey player in Canada who was crowned the winner of the annual Name Of The Year Tournament.

I’ve always loved unique names, and Jimbo Ghostkeeper is definitely an original name.

As Deadspin reports, users chatting on a Canadian hockey forum once mentioned Jimbo Ghostkeeper, saying that he is a huge dude who isn’t afraid to fight.

I wish I could find a picture of this 6’5 Jimbo Ghostkeeper, but so far he remains a mystery.

Coming in 2nd place in the Name Of The Year Tournament was Dr. Marwhals Mating.

Other champions on the Hall of Name include:

Assumption Bulltron
Nimrod Weiselfish
Tanqueray Beavers

Princess Nocandy
Vanilla Dong
Destiny Frankenstein
Barkevious Mingo
Taco B.M. Monster
Nohjay Nimpson

and last year’s winner? Kobe Buffalomeat.
