The Greater Sudbury Police Service is celebrating the start of Police Week by encouraging you to come out and meet members of your local police service, including an address from the Sudbury Police Chief Paul Pedersen.

The opening ceremonies will feature a free BBQ, various police demonstrations, information booths, and plenty of family-friendly outdoor activities such as an inflatable obstacle course and face painting.

 

Other activities include:

– Lip Sync battle

– Marine/ATV display

– Interactive cruiser display

– Photo boards “hole-in-the-face” photos

– Tactical unit members and K9 demonstration

– Impaired goggles activity

– Bike demonstration

– Raffling off helmets

– Photobooth/fingerprint station

– Balloon twister

– Chase from Paw Patrol

– Inspector Mooseau

– Scavenger hunt

– Coffee/hot chocolate, cupcakes, popcorn & candy

 

FREE parking will be available.

 

FREE barbeque begins at 4pm.

 

K9 demonstrations between 4pm-6pm.

 

Lip Sync Battle begins at 5:30pm.

 

3 Internet Safety presentations for parents between 3:30pm-5:30pm.

 

Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the Sudbury Food Bank.
