After starting out as 3-day event in 1989 …the little festival that could is marking it’s 30th anniversary.  Film lovers from Sudbury, across the North and beyond have come to enjoy the more laid back feel of the 8-day event that brings millions of dollars to the city.  Money is generated through accommodation bookings, restaurant and shopping trips not to mention how much the local film industry has matured over the years.

Executive director Tammy Frick has been at the helm of Cinefest for 24-years and she told KiSS Mornings Shannon & Gary there are plenty of films to be excited about this year.

An Audience of Chairs
Three Identical Strangers
The New Romantic
Sharkwater Extinction
