Sudbury owns the second most affordable housing market in the province.

According to Real Estate Market News website Zoocasa.com, Thunder Bay was number one in the province while Sudbury was right behind as in August the median household income was $68,736 and the average income needed to buy a house was $37,174.

The average price of a home in Sudbury was $272,523.

The most expensive place to buy a house was not Toronto, but a suburb, Richmond Hill where the average family makes $88,353 and the price to buy a home is $999,311.
