The second adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary will be “the scariest Stephen King adaptation ever”, according to one of the writers, Jeff Buhler (Via DeadCentral).

The story follows a family who moves to Maine when they suddenly realize that the cemetery near their house has this strange ability to bring back the dead.

The first adaption from 1989 was kind of cheesy, with D-list actors and a TV/Movie vibe to it. This one, will be a heck of a lot scarier with John Lithgow, Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz starring in the film.

Pet Semetary rises to the big screen on April 19, 2019.
