Those were the 11 men, students of Sudbury High School now Sudbury Secondary School, who gave their lives during the first world war.

The plaque was unveiled today in front of staff and students who hosted a special Remembrance Day ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, which brought the end to World War One.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76, RCMP and the Canadian Armed Forces were on hand.
