Netflix revealed at the strike of midnight on New Year’s Eve that the third season of Stranger Things will hit the streaming service on July 4, 2019.

The announcement was accompanied by a new poster of the gang watching a fireworks show and a teaser video, which puts a spin on Dick Clark’s classic New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special and features footage from the 1985 broadcast of the ball being dropped in Time Square.

As SPIN notes, it was previously revealed that season three will take place during the summer of 1985.
