30-Year-Old Stash of Hamm’s Beer & Chewing Gum Found Hidden in Washington State Library

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Walla Walla Library in the southeast corner of Washington state has been closed for months, giving staff time to do some renovating. Three weeks ago, during some demolition work, someone discovered five full cans of Hamm’s beer and an open pack of Godzilla Heads chewing gum hidden behind a shelf. Since the beer didn’t contain a warning label that’s been required since the late ’80s, library staff determined that the stash was at least 30 years old. (Unlike wine, which is what Walla Walla’s known for, beer doesn’t get better with age.) CNN notes that the library is celebrating its 50th anniversary, classifying “the unexpected find” as “an interesting time capsule.”

Caddie Costs Golfer a U.S. Amateur Match by Illegally Touching Sand Trap

As he was selecting a club for his shot, his caddie bent down and rubbed the bunker’s sand–a violation of the rules that disqualified Olivia Pinto from the hole and cost him the match and, in turn, a chance to win the tournament.

He puts his left hand on what looks like an amp, and then he plays the sausages with his right hand. According to Geekologie.com, he’s probably using the “conductivity of his fingers” to activate each key.
