Twitter Reveals Their Most Retweeted & Liked Tweets of 2020

Twitter reveals their most liked and re-tweeted tweets of 2020.  As Twitter explains, “We only feature one Tweet per account and we don’t consider Tweets that offer reward in exchange for followers or engagement.”

Twitter says ‘the top tweets of the year encapsulate the full spectrum of life in 2020: loss, contemplation, distraction, entertainment, and a dash of humor.’  The news abut Chadwick Boseman’s passing was the most retweeted and liked tweet of 2020, followed by COVID-19 and BTS.

With 400 million tweets using it, #COVID19 was the top hashtag of the year followed by #StayHome.
