Merle Gray founded Crosstown in 1972 as the ONLY stand-alone Oldsmobile dealership in Canada. Over the years the dealership has undergone many brand changes and remodels as it continues to evolve with each generation. Their slogan “built by generations for generations” was based on this premise of a multi generation family-owned business that continues to grow with their family, community and customers.

Merle’s daughter Karen and her husband, Vince Pollesel, who is the current Dealer Principal, have seen the automotive industry change over the years. They have guided the store through renovations and changes in product lineups as the GM brand continues to advance with the times. Crosstown as it stands today is a multi-brand store offering Chevrolet, Corvette, Buick, GMC and Cadillac.

This fall, their current General Manager Kristen Pollesel will become the new Dealer Principal and will guide the dealership into the future for the next generation. General Motors is investing significant resources in technology that will address the current need for Electric Vehicles. The new slogan “everybody in” is bringing electric vehicles to the mass market.  We expect to see 30 new electric vehicle models in the GM lineup by 2030. It all starts next year with the widely acclaimed Hummer EV and the new Cadillac Lyric, bringing luxury to new levels. It is an exciting time to be a General Motors dealer!
