Dua Lipa teased her third album, which is due to come out in 2024, in a New York Times profile published on Monday. Though it will still be pop, she says it’s also inspired by 1970s-era psychedelia. Kevin Parker of Tame Impala is reportedly among the producers Dua is working with, though she refused to confirm it. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she joked.

While the album will be “more personal,” it won’t be drawing on her real-life problems. “I think it’s a marketing tool: How confessional can you be?” she says of artists who hide hidden meanings in their songs. “I also don’t put so much of my life out there for people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way.”

The NYT feature also focuses on Dua’s other pursuits, like her Service95 newsletter, podcast and book club.
