If you’re travelling soon, you might want to plan a meal when you land: Researchers from Northwestern University and the Santa Fe Institute found that eating at regular times in your new destination can help you beat jet lag.

Erratic meal times and late-night eating could misalign internal clocks…even when you’re not travelling. This is because our internal clocks are influenced by both food and sunlight.

“Having a larger meal in the early morning of the new time zone can help overcome jet lag,” Dr. Yitong Huang said. (Study Finds)
