Fans went wild for the social media dump Ed Sheeran shared on Monday (December 11). One of the photos showed Ed Sheeran kissing his wife Cherry, and another shows the “Shape of You” singer snuggling with Taylor Swift’s cat, Meredith Grey, causing the post to go viral. Sheeran and his wife wed in 2019 and have always kept their relationship low-key, but Ed hinted at marital troubles in his latest album. One song on Autumn Variations, released in September, suggested Cherry ‘may have called time on their romance.’ The lyrics of “Punchline” suggest that Cherry is unhappy and is ready to move on.
