NELHIN

If you have ever been frustrated or pleased with health care in the North East, the North East Local Health Integration Network wants to hear from you.

They released a survey this week asking people in the area for ideas on how to provide a better experience when accessing health care.

Cynthia Stables is the Director of Community Engagement at the LHIN and she says the three main priorities they are focusing on are access to health care and wait times, the coordination between professionals and providers to meet your health care needs and insuring the system in place today is sustainable.

To take the survey, go online at www.nelhin.on.ca.

Stables says the survey will close September 4th and then they will analyze what they have heard, compare it to what they heard before the survey, and will create a draft by the end of October with the final release in February of next year.
