Our Children Our Future Tree of Dreams

Nov 13 - Dec 13

Toys R Us,

Our Children, Our Future and Toys“R”Us Sudbury are partnering up to help ensure that less fortunate children who live in our community will receive a gift on Christmas Day with the annual Tree of Dreams until December 13th.

Since 2013, over 1200 toys for local children who would otherwise not receive a gift during the holiday have been collected. Once more, we would like to invite the public to help us collect new, unwrapped toys for children 0 to 12 years of age.

HOW: In 3 simple steps you can bring joy with a toy:
1) Choose an ornament from our Toys“R”Us Tree of Dreams with a child’s name on it.
2) Purchase a gift for that child.
3) A Toys“R”Us associate will place the ornament & the unwrapped gift in a bag.

BACKGROUND: Our Children, Our Future remains committed to securing a better future for children and their families in our communities through positive learning, socialization, parent education, nutrition and food programs. Families have knowledge and access to services, regardless of income, age, race or ability. Many of our programs seek to alleviate some of the stress that food insecurity places on families.
Through the Healthy Food for Kids Initiative, we offer supplies of milk, infant formula and diapers to the most vulnerable sector. In addition, emergency groceries, children’s clothing, transportation and social supports are a few of the “crisis assistance” provided to families when required.
